My sewing machine and I made friends today, at long last! I made this little pair of flares for my youngest daughter and I am pretty happy with how they turned out.
These were upcycled from a vintage looking curtain I grabbed at the op shop a while ago, and finished off with a fabric covered button :0)
I think they are fab, makes me wish I was five again (but at the same time, I remember some of the bullying at school by kids for wearing flares) oh well, with some good memories, come some not so nice ones. But I really do love these and they suit your daughter so much! YOu must be happy getting reaquainted with your sewing machine. I look forward to your homely creations made with true love.
